I’d recommend for anyone to check out the After Death series on prime! It’s all about life after Jesus’ resurrection and is a great addition to doing this Bible study. Especially reading now about the construction of the temple which is featured so prominently in the series
It is interesting how much repetition is in the bible- it’s like there will be at least two angles of a thing, and I appreciate that. It shows that the truth still shines through differing perspectives, and even shows brighter within their differences.
Also, I am connecting Soloman’s temple to Jesus. The place God dwells on Earth, the temple perhaps is a foreshadowing of Christ to come- and in considering this, the cedar and gold, the baths and palms- all reference the beauty that connects God to Earth via Christ. Like, that’s how beautiful Christ is on the inside (and He was probably also beautiful literally).
