The Hidden Cost of Shots: How Mass Vaccination Is Fueling a Wave of Chronic Illness and Neurological Harm
Understanding the trade-off society has made between infectious disease and an epidemic of chronic illness
I often get asked my thoughts on vaccines.
“Is there any instance in which you think the benefits of vaccines outweigh the risks?”
“Would you get the HPV vaccine?”
“There’s a measles outbreak - would you get your kid the MMR?”
As someone who was vaccine injured and chronically ill all through childhood, ultimately graduating high school in a wheelchair, while the root cause of my vaccine injury was repeatedly overlooked - no, there is no instance in which I would give myself or my children another vaccine.
I think all vaccines are neither safe nor effective, and I believe the ample evidence that they have caused widespread chronic illness and neurological injuries in our society.
I’ve had probably 60 vaccines in my life.
I was born in the 1980s, right around the time U.S. President Ronald Reagan removed liability for vaccine injuries from pharmaceutical companies and transferred that liability to the American taxpayer. Throughout my childhood, I received the full, ever-expanding list of recommended vaccines.
As an adult, traveling the world was my passion.
I visited London and Paris at 13, and was sufficiently bit by the travel bug. My resolve to travel only deepened after I spent much of high school in a wheelchair, recovering from an undiagnosed chronic viral illness (EBV), poorly treated bacterial infections (strep), improper medications for what were largely misdiagnoses, and ill-advised surgeries.
In college, I decided to study abroad for a year. Several vaccines were required by my university to send me abroad. I ended up finishing all the required credits for my bachelor’s degree in psychology while in the UK, and so I just stayed there through graduation and continued traveling for nearly two years.
Having been sick much of my life, and knowing I was never properly diagnosed, I got all the vaccines that were recommended for travel to foreign countries because I thought they were protecting me and my fragile health from a worser fate.
They were not.
Peru.
Thailand.
Morocco.
There is ample evidence of widespread vaccine injury amongst the American population, and the industry’s predilection to brush it under the rug - based on a dogmatic faith that the benefits outweigh warning the public of the risks.
But is this true?
Below are links to several long form articles by doctors and researchers about the harms of vaccines, followed by my own research including 30 verified points that made me change my mind about the safety and efficacy of vaccines.
Research from Others
There is a lot of great information on the lack of safety and effectiveness of vaccines from both doctors and independent researchers available, but it can be hard to find because this information is suppressed by a multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry.
Here are just a few of my top favorite sources for those just starting out in understanding the harms of vaccines:
Paul Thomas, MD - An Oregon pediatrician with a large number of unvaccinated patients who noticed that his unvaccinated patients had far lower rates of chronic illness than his vaccinated patients, and published a study on it. Because the outcomes of the study - which showed definitively that his 561 unvaccinated patients had far lower rates of chronic illness than his 2763 vaccinated patients - did not support the agreed upon narrative about vaccines, it was spuriously retracted and he was stripped of his medical license. Below is a chart from the study comparing rates of various chronic illness between the vaccinated and unvaccinated groups. Dr. Thomas also wrote a book entitled The Vaccine Friendly Plan, in which he detailed how to space out vaccines to reduce the risk and rates of chronic illness - however, he has since stated that no vaccines are safe if there is a family history of autism or autoimmune disorders.

While some of the below information emerged during the pandemic around the Covid vaccines, the broad arguments against the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, and their widespread neurological and immune injuries, are applicable to all vaccines.
My Research
A few years ago, I published a 3 part series of posts on Instagram detailing the 27 most prominent points that convinced me to change my mind on the safety and efficacy of vaccines, which I had believed in for 35 years. Below is a list of those salient points with their references:
In 1979, 11 infants in Tennessee died of SIDS after a DPT shot.
The CDC did a study of 7,500 kids and learned that SIDS could in fact be caused by vaccines. Instead of further investigating or ensuring safety, they spread out the lots to break up the "SIDS cluster" so moms couldn't compare notes with their neighbor and figure out that vaccines cause SIDS.
Pharmaceutical companies are not financially liable for vaccine injuries.
In 1986, Reagan enacted the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program to pay victims of vaccine injury because pharmaceutical companies complained that they would go out of business if they were held accountable for the damages caused by vaccines mandated by the government.
When you suffer from a vaccine injury, your only legal recourse is to essentially sue the United States Department of Justice. A Harvard study found that only 1% of injuries are even reported, so only the most immediate and catastrophic injuries are ever acknowledged and compensated - with taxpayer dollars, rather than Pharma corporate profits.
There is no financial incentive for the most profitable industry in America to make vaccines safe and effective. And in fact - they profit more if you become injured and turn into a lifelong patient.
After financial liability was removed, the number of doses on the childhood vaccine schedule increased from 24 in 1985 to now 75.
Vaccines are not double blind safety tested against a placebo - the gold standard of medical research. They are tested against other vaccines.
The childhood vaccine schedule has never been safety tested together in its entirety or cumulatively.
Vaccines are tested in isolation, even though children are given as many as 5 or more at once.
The most common age for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is 2-4 months. Right after babies get 5+ injections that have never been safety tested together.
If you are immune compromised, vaccines are far less likely to be effective and more likely to result in injury.
This is because vaccines are developed using the general population whose immune systems work in a typical fashion.
Many immunocompromised people find that they do not have antibodies after vaccination. But we don't widely test for antibodies to see if vaccines are effective.
There are multiple known and emerging genetic factors that make one more prone to adverse reactions to vaccines.
Roughly 40% of the population has a heterozygous or homozygous MTHFR gene mutation that renders them deficient in folate and makes it harder for the body to perform methylation and detox - removing heavy metals and other toxins which are in vaccines including aluminum and formaldehyde. We are prone to storing toxins instead.
If your child has a MTHFR mutation, they will struggle to clear the neurotoxins from from their brain, and those can have a permanent impact on brain development, cognition, IQ, ability to emotionally regulate, etc. Kids with this mutation are doubly harmed by the administration of Tylenol/paracetamol, which impairs their ability to detox, too.
Another genetic factor has been presented with RCCX theory.
About 20% of the population - that's one in five - has a hypersensitive immune system, is prone to developing chronic and psychiatric illness, and is likely to not have a typical reaction to vaccines.
The populations of those with RCCX and MTHFR gene mutations overlap - meaning, there can be multiple genetic pathways by which a person has an adverse reaction to vaccines.
And none of these are tested for before we administer vaccines.
Vaccinated children experience far higher rates of chronic and psychiatric illness than unvaccinated children.
Vaccinated children are 4x more likely to have severe allergies, 5x more likely to be autistic, 14x more likely to have gastrointestinal disorders, 18x more likely to have asthma, 21x more likely to have ADD, and 28x more likely to have chronic ear infections.
The adjuvants in vaccines can cause brain and nervous system damage, either on their own or synergistically.
Adjuvants are substances used in vaccines to stimulate the immune system. One adjuvant, formaldehyde, can damage the blood brain barrier and allow for another adjuvant, aluminum, to easily cross the BBB and collect in the brain. This is known in medical research as the Trojan Horse effect and is especially problematic in those people who have genetically weak or thin connective tissues, like Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. This can damage the central nervous system and cause many conditions including myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and multiple sclerosis (MS).
Vaccines create an artificial immunity that does not compare to natural immunity.
The way natural immunity is created is that an infectious disease typically enters through the gastrointestinal or respiratory systems, stimulating an immune response that the body has evolved over millennia. This involves not just antibodies but T and B cells and a whole host of other cellular memory in the immune system.
Vaccines, on the other hand, are injected directly into the muscle and stimulate a single part of the immune system - antibodies. This is an artificial and limited way to confer immunity if and when it works (remember from my previous post re: the immune compromised) it is not long lasting, and boosters are recommended.
Heavily vaccinated people can become antibody bankrupt - rendering their immune systems incapable of adequately responding to a future immunological challenge.
Once an antibody is committed to a specific antigen, it becomes inert and cannot respond to any other immunological challenges. Artificial immunity from vaccines are estimated to confer 30-70% of the body's total available antibodies. "Immunological bankruptcy" occurs when the remaining antibodies left after childhood vaccines are used up by common illness or additional vaccines (like travel, boosters) in adulthood.
In contrast, natural immunity commits less than 10% of antibodies to this process.

Contracting illness and developing natural immunity in childhood has been shown in many studies to result in a significant reduction in risk of cancer later in life.
One study showed that for each case of febrile infectious childhood disease (measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, scarlet-fever and chikenpox), there was a 20% reduction in cancer risk later in life.
Mortality rates of infectious disease declined rapidly in the early 20th century -decades before the introduction of vaccines.
Why? Improved sanitation, potable water, refrigerators, etc. led to the significant reduction in mortality from *all* infectious diseases - not just those we vaccinate against.
Pharmaceutical companies spend twice as much on marketing as they do on research and development.
Pharmaceutical companies are the largest funder of American media.
Not just the commercials - they are direct corporate sponsors of news programs, and therefore can dictate news programming and what stories are showcased on the news.
Pharmaceutical companies fund about half of the costs of medical schools in the United States.
They pay for and write curriculum and have calculated a return of $3.56 for every dollar of their investment.
Because of this, doctors and nurses are not taught how vaccines work and more importantly how they don't work, how they impact the brain, who is at risk for an adverse reaction, how to report reactions in VAERS, how to identify and protect the genetically most vulnerable, etc. They are only taught how to "reduce vaccine hesitancy" and "combat misinformation" - which is simply information that threatens the bottom line.
What about Polio?
Polio is unique in that the disease, poliovirus, was named after the paralytic symptoms were recognized. As well, it is not contagious. It has been around since prehistory but peaked around 1950 - after the significant reduction in disease mortality in the early 20th century, before the vaccine push in the latter 20th century.
Paralysis and the symptoms recognized as polio can be caused by many viruses as well as chemicals like pesticides, including lead arsenate and DDT, which were very commonly used in the 1950s. FDR developed polio after swimming in a pond downstream from an apple orchard at his summer home on Campobello Island.
After the polio vaccine was introduced, the paralytic condition was renamed, to many syndromes including Guillan-Barre Syndrome and Transverse Myelitis.
Even though you can't typically get diagnosed with polio today, people still get polio - they get it as a side effect of the polio vaccine. It is a listed risk on the insert. As well, the renamed paralytic conditions are listed side effects of many vaccines - suggesting polio was not eradicated, it was simply renamed.

The CDC owns 57 vaccine patents and spends $4.9 billion of its $12.0 billion annual budget buying and distributing vaccines.
In other words - more than 40% of the CDC's budget is spent promoting products it profits from.
The FDA receives more than 45% of its budget from the pharmaceutical industry.
The rate of childhood chronic illness (including autoimmune and allergies) has more than quadrupled to 54%, up from 13% in 1984 when Fauci took over NIAID. The NIAID's explicit mission is to prevent immunologic disease.
The increase can be attributed to environmental toxins from the pharmaceutical, chemical, agricultural, and processed food multinationals that Fauci and his 20-year business partner, Bill Gates, have devoted their careers to promoting. The 69 vaccine doses list each of these 170 now common illnesses as side effects, and other contributing factors include corn syrup, PFOA flame retardants, processed foods, cell phones and EMF radiation, chlorpyrifos, ultrasound, and neonicotinoid pesticides.
The lockdowns facilitated the largest upward transfer of wealth in human history - in 2020, workers lost $3.7 trillion while billionaires gained $3.9 trillion.
With just 4% of the world’s population, the US suffered 14.5% of the world's total deaths during the Covid pandemic.
Fauci admitted he lied about masks and herd immunity and dictated a series of policies that resulted in by far the most deaths of any nation on the planet.
Life expectancy in the US decreased by 1.9 years during the quarantine - with the average Hispanic American life expectancy decreasing by 3.9 years and for Black Americans decreasing by 3.25 years.
These numbers were unique to America, and 8.5 times the average decrease in comparable countries. A life expectancy decrease of that magnitude has not been seen since WWII, and it is effectively a 3% reduction in overall population.
Peer reviewed studies show that early treatments could have averted some 80% of deaths in the US, but Fauci ignored and outright aggressively suppressed information on available early treatments (including vitamin D, C, zinc, Quercetin, and a plethora of others).
If existing medications, especially those with expired patents like ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (which were available over the counter in most countries until early 2020), proved effective as early treatments against Covid, then legally a vaccine would not qualify for an emergency use authorization - posing a threat to the $48 billion vaccine project that Fauci and Gates are heavily invested in.
The NIH co-owns the Moderna patent, meaning at least 4 of Fauci's hand-picked deputies stand to collect royalties of $150,000 a year - on top of their federal salaries paid by the American public.
Pfizer's six-month clinical data for its Covid vaccine showed 42% more deaths in the vaccinated group than the placebo group.
For every life presumably saved from Covid in the vaccinated group, 4 people died of heart attacks.
The long term safety trials were cancelled when the placebo group was vaccinated.
As you can see, there is an overwhelming amount of evidence supporting and validating concerns over using any vaccines safely, especially for those with a family history of autoimmunity, RCCX gene mutations, and other chronic illness or hypersensitivity. I hope this information can get you started or help you further educate yourself while evaluating whether vaccines are right for you and your family.
