Fascianting read on the planetary imprisonment theory. That connection between wandering stars in Jude and planets being rebellious angels genuinely reshapes how mythology mapped onto cosmology. I've aways wondered why every ancient culture deified specific planets, but if they're literaly chained watchers that adds a whole layer to why early astronomers felt compelled to name them after gods.
So I was thinking about how you said (Adrian) about you think some herbs are ok and some aren’t, which I have to agree. Well you know how it talks about God giving us wine for a merry heart, but we aren’t supposed to get drunk? I was thinking how vodka is made with potatoes and potatoes are a root vegetable. And there was the fallen angel who taught us about root. I think and from experience, some alcohol is just bad for most people, specifically hard alcohol. Also how they call liquor spirits. The categories of alcohol include, wine and spirits so like wine is of God but don’t get drunk and drink in moderation, but spirits should really be avoided by most. I don’t know why I thought about this but I’m interested to see what you all think about this.
I wanted to point out that Deuteronomy 14:26 directs the Israelites who lived far away to purchase wine or "other alcoholic drink" for celebration. I don't know what it refers to in the original text, but if you're wanting to explore this line of thinking (which I found interesting btw) you could dive into that verse in its original language for what He was permitting and actually encouraging. It is certainly undeniable that wine is the preferred celebratory beverage in the Bible. Isaiah 25: 6 even says in heaven He prepares for us a "delicious banquet with clear, well-aged wine and choice meat"
That's an interesting observation because I also noticed that in Genesis 1:29 God says "behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of the earth and every tree with seed in its fruit". I thought it was interesting that he stressed the "seed" part. Potatoes don't reproduce via seed as well as ferns, missed, liverwort and others. For asexual reproducing plants (those without seed), they're propogated via cuttings, bulbs, tubers and grafting. Which sounds similar to what the fallen watchers were teaching the humans maybe?? "Root cuttings"? I don't know. We're taught that things like ginger and sweet potatoes, and medicinal mushrooms are good for you and they're not seed plants so know know 🤷🏼♀️
Exactly! I am really tripping out on the “seed” part as well! And there’s so many things without seeds that are supposedly good for us that I don’t know. I’m hoping there’s another scripture that says
we can use other things too because I can’t quite wrap my head around seeds only.
My husband and I are loving this and it’s opening up all kinds of discussion that is building our understanding but also, I feel closer to God than ever 🥹 Thank you so much 🙌 I also had this revelation that the Holy Spirit impregnating Mary and Jesus being birthed through a human woman as fully man & fully God, was also a full circle redemption of the great rebellion the angels performed with human women creating their hybrid offspring. Not that they are redeemed…no no no, it is clear they are damned for all eternity (and I feel your planets theory makes so much sense) but the act of defilement they did has been corrected on the earth by the conception and birth of Jesus… 😭🙏🙌 excited to read more and continue on. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for doing this weekly summary. I know that it is a tremendous labor of love. This is my 3rd time reading Enoch and your notes are so helpful in breaking it down and understanding it better. I was convinced the first time I read it that book 1 is most certainly holy and probably should be cannon and reading it beside scripture has made that even more clear but also made it more understandable. Thank you for doing this!
I’m really enjoying reading your recap of the upcoming week before I dive in to the scripture for the week. Then come back after I’m done each day and read again. ❤️
He points out the distinction that these “creatures” are considered to be inter-dimensional and not extraterrestrial which, to my mind, points to them being demons and not aliens living on the planets, especially since Enoch is pointing us to the planets being bound up angels. Super interesting stuff!
Michael Heiser talks A LOT about the reversal of the rebellion and this episode has stuck with me since I listened to it years ago! (Genuinely his entire podcast is so informative)
Well, well- some veeeery amazing visions! I agree, seeming like astral projecting! What a total trip. I'm still like...so, Enoch was snatched as a human living in the heavens and he just can be there? Maybe I missed if he perished.
The storyline really moves when women are mentioned, doesn't it? Proverbs 2:16, the adulterous woman to be added to the list- surely her "house"(?) leads down to death.
I am REALLY enjoying the shift in perspective re: planets. I've always felt the greek mythology was BS and felt like a gossip rag I DGAF about. BUT, if their stories have true origins- like Enoch as Mercury/Hermes.... I'm real perked.
Lots of love and gratitude Adrian for your writing and gathering, and I want to cheer on a zoom/video meet that I saw you mentioned, somewhere.
Sometimes in Genesis 11:6 I like to think of the timeline God saw that made Him say ‘yup that won’t work best make it so that they can’t communicate’ and then I think ‘you’re right, God! It was probably awful’
I guess I am a bit fixated on this because I personally feel so much healthier eating meat and, at the same time, I have recently encountered vegans who truly believe that human’s are damaged by eating flesh and blood. One guy I spoke with was arguing that our original diet (Adam being possibly vegan or perhaps vegetarian) is still our ideal diet for health.
We don't have the same DNA as Adam - humans also originally had the potential for immortality. Then they lived to nearly 1,000 years old. We obviously don't have that potential anymore, and it's not due to eating meat, it's due to however our genetics, the atmosphere, etc changed over the course of the events of early Genesis.
We needed a place to get out our “propensity for violence” so now we can kill and eat animals? But weren’t animals being sacrificed to God (and not eaten?) from the days of Adam?
Are the books the unseen realm and supernatural different enough to read both or do you recommend reading one about the other? Really fascinated and want to learn more!
They're not very different - Supernatural is The Unseen Realm re-written for more of a lay audience. If you want to see the deep complexity of cited sources throughout the Biblical text, get The Unseen Realm, but if you find that overwhelming just get Supernatural.

EXACTLY. This changed my view on all of mythology.

I was thinking about that this week too!! The redemption through Jesus is 100% reversal of the angelic rebellion, it’s a complete inversion.

John Bevere just did a podcast episode discussing UFO/UAP and the Bible that might relate to our current readings:

God loves you, be well everybody!!! :):):)
Can you please expand upon (even briefly) Enoch as Mercury/Hermes?
I wanted to share that I thought Enoch 25:5-7 were similar to Isaiah 65.
Sometimes in Genesis 11:6 I like to think of the timeline God saw that made Him say ‘yup that won’t work best make it so that they can’t communicate’ and then I think ‘you’re right, God! It was probably awful’
Am I the only one who reads Genesis 10 and the end of 11 as just gibberish in my head bc all the names are 😵💫

Yes, that makes so much sense. Thank you for this!

Still interested in the whole vegetarian to omnivore transition… I am reading the Catholic Study Bible which has a note on
Are the books the unseen realm and supernatural different enough to read both or do you recommend reading one about the other? Really fascinated and want to learn more!

Thanks so much!! I’ll start with Supernatural as it’s my first time through the Bible so it all may be over my head
