Thanks for the Lent info! I’m returning to Catholicism after a long absence and realizing that I never fully understood the meaning and purpose behind a lot of these traditions and practices
Ha! I hope the Davidsons, being the creative capitalists (and I mean that as a compliment), they can turn their memes into some kind of "Good Memes for the Good Book" so they are immortalized to accompany the weekly assignments.
Exodus was fun to read, Leviticus leaves me with some questions...are these traditions of sacrifice/offerings still part of the Jewish tradition? Freaking wild how much death there had to be for humans to be right with God (that is, after they're wrong with God in their actions). It is a real mind trip and I still feel like I don't get it at all. In our chat, I appreciated folks saying "Imagine if Jesus didn't shed his blood, we'd still have to do this," but I just want to put big side eye/wild eye emojis over all of this part of the bible.
Before I try to make one, anyone on here create or find a bible tracker with all the books including Enoch? I want one of those that looks like a bookshelf coloring sheet but can’t find one!
I just realized I didn’t start a new chat for this week and we’ve been chatting in last week’s chat - I think I’m going back to doing monthly chats unless it gets overwhelming again.

Read Ephesians 3:14-21. Pray and ask God to reveal to you how he wants you to Lent this year. Don’t compare yourself to what others are doing…you can take inspiration from others but it doesn’t have to look or be the same.

I often give up Instagram for Lent and I haven't decided if I'm going to this year 🙃 But if I don't, the memes will be there when you get back!

I was humbled reading Gods direction for building the tent and the clothes for the priests. So incredible.
